The Marvel Cinematic Universe is, for the most part, an extremely kid-friendly franchise when it comes to its content.
The likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow, Star-Lord and Spider-Man have become iconic in mainstream pop culture circles – and that’s thanks largely to the fact that children idolise them as if they were real-life superheroes!
But there are undoubtedly some moments in the franchise that simply aren’t suitable for younger eyes and ears – and that’s what this video is all about.
These are ten Marvel movie moments that aren’t for kids – and it should be noted that this video contains spoilers for a number of movies up to and including Avengers: Infinity War.
The moments in question are; Hulk smashing Emily Blonsky in The Incredible Hulk, Pepper Potts and Tony Stark referring to Christine Everhart doing “quite a spread” on Stark in Iron Man 2, Loki calling Black Widow a “mewling quim” in The Avengers, the entirety of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Peter Quill saying his ship would look like “a Jackson Pollock painting” under a black light in Guardians of the Galaxy, Tony Stark saying Clint Barton “can’t get it up” in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tony Stark suggesting Bruce Banner and Black Widow might be playing “hide the zucchini” in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ned Leeds saying he was “watching p*rn” in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Loki’s brutal death in Avengers: Infinity War, and Scott Lang and Bill Foster “comparing sizes” in Ant-Man and The Wasp.
